sky dreams

                 Sky dreams
As the sky turned black, we zoomed over the Atlantic Ocean, we were air-force pilots on our first mission. First let’s talk about me and how I got here. It started about a year ago right before my 19th birthday. By the way my name is Zack, I have always wanted to be in the Special Forces, well I got my wish when me and a couple buddies signed up- there was five of us. Me, Cody, Isaac, John, and Fred. As soon as Isaac signed up, they sent him straight to the Marines; he was the biggest of all of us, so naturally he would be the best for the job. They sent me and John to be mechanics in the air-force of course we were not frilled, but there was no way out of it we were the smallest and thinnest of the bunch. Fred and Cody became air force pilots. They got the better deal considering that’s what we all set out to do, we had been dreaming about becoming pilots sense we were young kids, but as they say if you dream hard enough it will always come true; which it did just not the way we expected.
                                    ~
One afternoon John and I were sitting in our bunk, when John decided to go out and walk a bit. We had a few hours of free time on this particular day, because all of the air-force pilots were out on a test run. The only ones on base were the mechanics. I laid back and was reading a book when all of a sudden, the door banged open! I jumped out of my bunk.
“Zack, hurry we need to get ready!” said John who was waving his hands up and down. He sounded frantic.
“Hold up!” I said, “What’s wrong?”
“They are spies, we got to stop them, we don’t have a lot of time!”
“Who are spies,” I yelled, “tell me what’s going on!”
John hurried to explain. I found out that while John was taking his walk, he heard three of our fellow mechanics talking about info they stole from the general’s office. John had then watched them take off in their planes! They were spies! They were probably planning to get away safely sense the air-force pilots were not around. But they were wrong, I was looking for some action, and now that I found it, I wasn’t going to let it get away! Me and John took off the runway, and zoomed after the enemy. We found them easily, but it wasn’t as easy to shoot them down! They were skilled flyers and were not going to go down easy!
“John, on your left!” I yelled.
One of the enemy planes gave a blow to John’s left wing, but John soon took him down.
“Zack,” called John, “I’ve been hit, and I’m tiring to keep control, but I don’t know how long I’m going to last!”
“Hold in there!” I yelled.
We got two of the enemy planes in minutes, but we were having trouble with the third, and John was having trouble with his plane. Things were not good.
The enemy plane went zooming for John; he was about to fire when…
BOOM! The enemy plane shred to pieces. The air-force pilots had returned just in time!
A few days later...
“I am glad to pronounce that Zack Watson and John Niles have promoted to air-force pilots in reward from their outstanding bravery!" Announced the air-force general from our base.
John and I stood there in pure joy! We had finely reached our dreams! So I guess dreams do come true when we trust in God, and try hard! You know what they say- the sky’s the limit!

In times of sorrow

                         IN TIME OF SORROW

“Samuel! Turn left, turn left!” cried Mrs. Madison.

Someone screamed.
Samuel crashed and then he was sprawled on the ground next to his go-kart motionless.
~
Mrs. Madison’s son Timmy was having his 10th birthday and he wanted to have it at adventure land go-karts. Mrs. Madison agreed and invited three of Timmy’s closest friends- Anna, Bret, and his closest friend Samuel. Mrs. Madison had been close friends with Samuel’s parents, Joy and Robert Jones for a long time. On the day of the party Samuel’s parents dropped him off at the party. Timmy and the kids ate pizza and then headed out to race on a track they had all to themselves.
~
Samuel was taking his last turn in the lab, they were having a race and he wanted to be in first place! As he was turning he looked behind him to see how close the other kids were gaining on him. His hand slipped from the wheel.
He heard someone scream.
He felt a sharp pain go through his leg and then everything was black.
The next thing he knew he was in a hospital bed, with tubes sticking out of him everywhere.
“Where’s my mom,” he wondered. “Why am I here?”
He didn’t remember a thing!
“He is awake!” one of the nurses called out.
“Where am I,” asked Samuel, “what happened?”
“Just stay still sweetie, I’m going to go get your parents, ok?” said the nurse.
“Ok.”
~
Joy Jones got a call from Mrs. Madison, that her son had had an accident and that he was going to the emergency room. Mrs. Jones was frantic! She was driving on her way to the hospital way over the speed limit.
“Oh, Lord please makes him ok.” Mrs. Jones silently prayed.
She drove up to the hospital and ran inside.
“My little boy just came in en ambulance, his name is Samuel, and I do not know what room he is in.” Mrs. Jones said to the lady at the front desk.
“He just arrived; he is on floor 3 in urgent care, so you will probably not be able to see him quite yet. He is in room C92.”
“Thank you,” Mrs. Jones said quickly and she ran to the elevator. When she got up to the hall-way where his room was, the doctor came out.
“Please sir, let me in. I need to see my son!” said Mrs. Jones with agony in her voice.
“I am sorry, but we cannot let you see him yet, he is in bad condition and is asleep right now. Please go wait in the waiting room and I will be there shortly to tell you how he is.”
Mr. Jones arrived shortly after and they waited and prayed for 4 hours until the doctor finely came back.
“How is he?”
“He is still sleeping but he should be awake soon, I have something to tell you- your son has been through a traumatic accident and will probably not remember anything. I do not know how serious his memory will be until he wakes up. He may just not remember his accident, or he may not even be able to remember who you are.”
Mrs. Jones gasped. Mr. Jones broke out in a sob.
“That is not all,” said the doctor. “For the rest of his life, Samuel will have many problems with his legs!”
“Is he paralyzed?” asked Mr. Jones in a near whisper.
“No, he will be able to feel his legs, but they will give him a lot of pain. He will walk cricked sense his legs have been twisted out of place, and he will need crutches for the rest of his life. He will probably need to be in a wheel-chair for two months first.”
                                         ~
6 months later……
Samuel was hoping down the road with his new best friend- Jasper. Samuel had gotten Jasper three months ago; he was a golden-retriever service dog. Jasper stayed with Samuel everywhere he went to help him if he fell, and to help him with whatever else Samuel needed. In the morning Jasper would bring Samuel’s crutches to his bed for he could get up! Samuel loved Jasper, and Jasper was a great friend to him. Ever sense his accident all the kids had acted different to Samuel. They stared at him in class and always acted shy and weird when they were around him. Samuel did not remember anything about his accident. He tried and tried but it did not matter, he still could not remember. His accident had also damaged part of his brain so that he could not remember things as much as other kids. It was so hard to remember math problems and other things, but thankfully with the help of his parents and God, he did fine in school. Mrs. Madison had felt responsible for Samuel’s accident and had been really depressed. She thought that the Jones blamed her and that she could never be good friends with them again. But the Jones did not blame her, and they were not angry about Samuel’s accident because they thanked God that it had not been worse. When Mrs. Madison found out that they were not angry, and that they were not bitter against her she trusted the Lord as her Savior! She had known about the Jones trust in God, but she did not know that their faith was so strong that they would still trust and thank God, In the hardest moments of life.

MoonAcre Remorse

The MoonAcre Remorse
Two Thousand years ago in the land of MoonAcre there lived a princess named LeeAnn. Her father owned a land of slaves, and LeeAnn wanted to free them. She knew the way her father treated them was wrong. She decided she would sneak up to the caves where the slaves were locked up,and free them.   She snuck up to the side of the cave with her friend Mellissa.  The plan was that Mellissa was to go to the mountains and distract the guards, while LeeAnn would open the iron gate and set the slaves free.
While Mellissa made the distraction all the guards left, or so LeeAnn thought. While LeeAnn was opening the gate for the slaves, she heard a trumpet- a warning trumpet! She hurried up and opened the gate, and the slaves fled. Then LeeAnn tried to creep out, but she was too late! One of the guards grabbed her, and called for her father.
Her father’s wrath poured out, and he told one of his men to take LeeAnn to the dungeon and not give her food nor water for four days! LeeAnn almost died on the third day, but her father changed his mind.
He said, “I will not let you die so soon, for all my slaves have been lost just because you felt sorry for them!  Since you have done this, I dearly hope someone will feel sorry for you for I have sold you into slavery!”
LeeAnn begged her father to change his heart, but he refused.  She promised herself that she would come back to MoonAcre free. LeeAnn lived for seven years as a slave. Then one day as she was serving her master’s dinner.  She heard that some slaves where being returned to MoonAcre.  LeeAnn made sure that she was one of them. On the way to MoonAcre LeeAnn made a friend with a girl named Kassie.
LeeAnn told her what happened to her, and Kassie agreed to help her make things right.  While the slaves where being presented to the king, he did not recognize LeeAnn, but she knew him. She was filled with anger so she slipped out of the group into a dark corner in the palace.
The next day LeeAnn went into town to see her old friend Mellissa.  She soon found out that the king had sentenced her to death after LeeAnn had left.  LeeAnn was filled with rage!  She went out and bought a dagger and ran into the palace, where she found the king on his throne.
When he saw her, he did not recognize her, and he said, “ What right do you have to walk into my chambers without permission?”
“ I have the right as your daughter,” replied LeeAnn.
“ My daughter is dead.  She would never have survived seven years of slavery.  Did you know her?  Did she send you?”
“ My father, you do not recognize me?  I am your flesh and blood!  I have spent  fifteen years with you and you do not think I am your daughter?”, LeeAnn asked.
When the king saw it was her, his long lost daughter, he could barely believe it was her!  “Oh, LeeAnn kill me now for I have done a horrible thing, I beg thee to forgive me!”
LeeAnn’s heart was grieved and she bowed on her knees weeping. “I forgive thee father!”
It was known throughtout the kingdom that the princess had returned! Everyone rejoiced, there was going to be a royal feast to celebrate the uniting.
As soon as Mellissa’s father heard this he set out a plan to kill the people who had killed his beloved daughter! On the day of the feast he sneaked into the royal kitchen, and poisoned their cups.
The royal drink tester, examined the cups but did not know it was poisoned, because it could not be triggered unless their lips touched the cups!
As father and daughter took a sip, the poisen attacked making them not able to breath!
As the king was dying he said to his daughter, “ I love thee, I am truly regretful of my actions!!

Afterward
LeeAnn had freed Kassy before her death, and she became the next queen.
